Enjoy the first concert of a 3-day series: 
Celebrate the Fusion of Music, Video
and Technology featuring: 

Psychoangelo, led by CU music professor Michael Theodore, consists of Glen Whitehead on trumpet and electronics, and Theodore on guitar, electronics and percussion. Music includes elements of jazz, rock, world and ambient electronic music. They will perform against a backdrop of animated graphics produced by Theodore and will be joined by a number of musical guests. 

 

Safari Trio, led by CU music professor John Gunther on sax and flute, features guitarist Brad Shepik and percussionist John Hadfield. Their music includes jazz, folk and rhythms from around the world. NYC video artist Luke Dubois will accompany them with a backdrop of computer graphics generated in real time. Gunther will also debut a new composition.

 

This concert series is presented by Interdisciplinary Studies in Music, Art and Technologies, a research initiative of CU-Boulder (CISMAT.org).
